ABOUT

Dr. Gangolli received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis after completing her thesis work performing radiological-pathological correlations of diffusion imaging metrics and CTE histopathology in human ex vivo tissue. She is currently a post doctoral fellow at the Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. In 2019, she was accepted as a research fellow in the CNRM Military TBI Fellowship program. Her current work is focused on using noninvasive imaging methods to characterize cortical spreading depression. Dr. Gangolli’s primary areas of expertise are in the fields of diffusion image acquisition and image processing and analysis.
